Based on the feedback the 53rd congress of the ERA-EDTA in Vienna was a great success. Vienna is a beautiful city, but next to the perfect organization by the ERA-EDTA staff, the delegates were extremely satisfied with the quality of the scientific program. We all know that this is a direct reflection of the engagement of all speakers and chairs. We were sure already when we invited you, that we will have outstanding researcher and teacher coming to Vienna. Nonetheless it is still necessary for everybody to work on the presentations with enthusiasm and to prepare for the discussions to make it even better. We can assure you that we and the audience appreciated your effort a lot.
